Smeeden Foreman carried out a landscape character, capacity assessment and impact appraisal for the whole of Alderney to inform the siting of a large scale tidal power energy facility. Having identified a potential location and an outline mitigation strategy, illustrations were produced to demonstrate how potential building heights related to particular viewpoints, informing site planning and the subsequent landscape and visual impact assessment.
