Smeeden Foreman was initially involved in the development of a design guide for the wider development that included a mixed use development, housing a retail offer and a marina and chandlery. The design guide looked at the existing character of the site and the surroundings to highlight existing important features and to include sustainable local materials that could be incorporated into the design. Smeeden Foreman developed detail design proposals for the the layout of the marina working closely with the contractor and the Local Planning Authority to agree final materials and finishes.
