The Smeeden Foreman ecology team can provide specialist botanical surveys. These may be required following an initial walkover survey (Preliminary Ecological Appraisal), where habitats of value are identified or when such surveys are requested by the local planning authority.  Specialist botanical surveys can be undertaken to the National Vegetation Classification (NVC) methodology or bespoke Phase 2 botanical surveys.  The Smeeden Foreman Ecology Survey Calendar provides optimal timings for botanical surveys.
