COPT HEWICK

The proposals for this large private house included a new drive to replace the historic approach which had been lost with the sale of a lodge, allowing the house to be appreciated as originally intended.  We improved and extended the parkland with new woodland and wildflower areas; redesigned the formal gardens close to the house and extended the lake and wetland areas.

We carried out ecological surveys for the site including bat and newt surveys. It was also necessary to undertake an arboricultural impact assessment as some of the trees and woodland were subject to a Tree Preservation Order and required management.
