Chartered Landscape Architect and Landscape Architect
We currently have positions available for both a Chartered Landscape Architect and Landscape Architect (on the Landscape Institute Pathway to Chartership) to join our team of landscape architects, ecologists and arborist, in Yorkshire.
You will have the opportunity to develop your technical and professional skills in a supportive environment, whilst contributing to the successful delivery of a wide ranging programme of work. Our current projects include the detailed design of public spaces, visitor improvements for historic sites, a coastal holiday village, and a green infrastructure strategy for an urban extension. We regularly undertake landscape and visual impact assessments and appraisals and prepare landscape designs for commercial, retail, health, education and residential development (including NPPF paragraph 79 projects).
We would like you to be:
Enthusiastic to engage with a wide range of work supporting projects at all work stages;
Have a flair for design and care about detail and practical solutions;
Confident in landscape assessment and report writing;
Proficient in CAD and general IT packages, including Keyscape (and/ or AutoCAD), InDesign and Photoshop;
Able to work to tight deadlines in a collaborative environment;
An excellent two-way communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Who we are
We are based a few miles outside Harrogate and offer the widest range of landscape services. Our client base includes customers who have been with us since we were established 30 years ago.
We have won competitions and awards for our landscape work and undertake schemes for a wide range of projects, assessing and designing at all scales and stages of the project lifecycle. We take pride in being able to support projects from inception through design and planning stages to construction and maintenance, drawing on an integrated multi-disciplinary approach.
We are a friendly team based at bright and airy offices in the North Yorkshire countryside but close to the national road network.
We are actively involved with the Landscape Institute and have successfully mentored candidates on the Pathway to Chartership.
