Assistant Arboriculturist or Arboriculturist
We currently have a position available for an Assistant Arboriculturist or Arboriculturist to join our team of landscape architects, ecologists and arborist, in Yorkshire.
You will have the opportunity to develop your technical and professional skills in a supportive environment, whilst contributing to the successful delivery of a wide ranging programme of work. We provide a comprehensive range of arboricultural services to support all stages of development from initial tree surveys to arboricultural impact assessments, tree protection plans and detailed method statements to provide pragmatic advice that better informs the development process. Sectors include commercial, retail, health, education and residential development.
We also advise clients on their duties, the risks, and the potential liabilities in relation to trees on their land.
We would like you to be:
Enthusiastic to engage with a wide range of work supporting projects at all work stages;
Diligent about detail and practical solutions;
Confident in carrying out tree surveys and report writing;
Proficient in general IT packages, including Keytree (and/ or AutoCAD);
Able to work to tight deadlines in a collaborative environment;
An excellent two-way communicator, both verbally and in writing;
Understanding of protected trees legislation, relevant British Standards and best practice;
Aware of tree risk management;
Either a Professional Member or working towards professional membership of the Arboricultural Association, with a minimum RQF Level 3 qualification in arboriculture.

We take pride in being able to support projects from inception through design and planning stages to construction and maintenance, drawing on an integrated multi-disciplinary approach.
